A nightmare with spyware

You start surfing the web...you notice your internet speed is extremely slow, popups are showing up more frequently, your default URL for your browser has mysteriously changed and new icons are showing up on your desktop. Obviously you suspect spyware, and the next popup on your screen says that you MUST download the "new and improved" anti-spyware because your PC is severely infected. You click download and seconds later it claims to have deleted spyware, but you have even more popups and newly installed programs. Porn is starting to show up in your internet browser and your antivirus has somehow been disabled. Your mouse cursor is starting to move by itself and programs are installing themselves as if a ghost has posessed your computer. Your PC, with years of work and personal information has been taken hostage, and now Windows refuses to allow you to run backup software or shut it down.

You find a way to backup your My Documents directory, reformat and rebuild your OS, re-install your programs, Update your Windows, install your antivirus...and after 3 hours of hard work, your PC gets infected again within a week.

Has this been your nightmare? You are not alone. Let us hear your story and find out how to resolve it at http://www.tcgamerica.com
